Elfin Cottage is a simple farmers cottage that has been restored lovingly and carefully in collaboration with local craftsmen. The dialogue with the craftsmen has been key to the project, with a commitment to using local, organic and sustainable materials wherever possible. Respect for the natural environment and for the cottage’s humble roots were integral to the restoration. This is reflected with the use of natural materials and a simple design aesthetic throughout. We believe this paired back simplicity allows for a more restful restorative experience.
Located on the edge of the historic Burren in northwest county Clare, and within easy reach of the majestic Cliffs of Moher and the unique Aran Islands. The cottage has a lovely open plan living and dining, with a beautiful wood burning stove, area making it perfect for relax and entertaining. The kitchen is thoughtfully kitted out with everything you would expect of a luxury holiday property. There are two double bedrooms and one main bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom has a gorgeous freestanding copper tub with a view out over the Atlantic, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the west coast.
